New Year Health Resolutions that you can actually follow❤️

New Year often means a New start for many. Many of you must be setting new goals, health targets and exercise routines to achieve
But we have often noticed that keeping restrictive health targets make most of you break the resolution.
Keeping targets like losing 20kgs weight is not fair and justified to your body. Rather than keeping a quantitative targets, let’s try to focus on qualitative goals
Let’s see how can we keep more sustainable New Year goals easily and effortlessly 😊

1) Keep a goal of eating WHOLE FOODS every single day this year
Whole foods include vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, whole grains, and fish. They all contain a plethora of nutrients that your body needs to function at an optimal level.

Cutting back on sweetened beverages is a smart idea considering that sugary drinks are linked to an increased risk of obesity, fatty liver, heart disease and insulin resistance

So that means you will also cut down the risks of these metabolic disorders 😍😊

Choose your weakness in sweetened drinks and quit

There are many reasons why people don’t get enough sleep, so it’s important to focus on your schedule and lifestyle to determine the best ways to improve sleep quantity and quality.

You can do this by Decreasing screen time before bed, reducing light pollution in your bedroom, cutting back on caffeine, and getting to bed at a reasonable hour.

Choose one of these which is keeping you awake till late night

Research shows that people who cook more meals at home have better diet quality and less body fat than people who eat more meals on the go.

Always prefer to carry tiffins than relying on delivery Apps.

5) Most important is to STOP DIETING

Chronic dieting is harmful to both physical and mental health. Plus, most people who lose weight through restrictive dieting regain up to two-thirds of the weight lost within 1 year.

Rather than setting a New Year’s resolution to lose weight by using restrictive measures, such as a fad diet, try a healthier, more sustainable method of weight loss by focusing on increasing physical activity and eating healthier foods.

For me, this is something which works wonders in keeping me lean and fit.
Plan your meals one night ahead
Check what all is available at home as healthy options and plan what you are going to cook from it.
Consider health first than weightloss
Like two servings of vegetables
Two servings of whole grains
Two servings of fruits
One serving of nuts, seeds or dryfruits
One serving of dairy
One serving of legumes

Put alarms of having water frequently

When you will take a conscious effort to be healthy, your body will support you unconditionally

Happy New Year to all of you 😊😊
