Metabolism has 3 important functions in our body i.e.
1. Digestion Of Food
2. Repair of damaged cells
3 Production of Energy

When our metabolism is impaired due to disturbed digestion, more free radicals are produced which results in more cell damage.

Low metabolism slows down the cell repair system as a result of which energy levels are decreased leading to sendentary lifesyle.

Sedentary Lifestyle causes fat percentage to increase in body leading to Weight Gain.

The Cells attack by free radicals is called oxidation and any substance which prevents this oxidation is antioxidant

That’s how and that’s why an anti-oxidant is marketed to show the results in weight loss 😊
